  Ii just completed 25 miles backpacking on the Appalachian Trail with these inserts in my hiking boots.  My feet felt great...no pain, no inflammation, no blisters.

  I run regularly and have used New Balance insoles for the last couple of years.  The New Balance are more expensive, so I wanted to try these as a comparison.  The Sorbothane do not have as much arch support, but seem to provide adequate strike absorption.  The New Balance are good for 6 months.   I''ve only had these 3 weeks, so don''t know yet if they will last as long.
